Top savings accounts from Money Supermarket

money supermarket logoI spent fifteen years in financial services direct marketing. During my time in career purgatory I made it my mission to bring Plain English into insurance. I gave it my best shot, making myself very unpopular in the process, but completely and utterly failed!

Four top ten British insurers later, when I finally escaped the industry for good, they were still generating rubbishy gobbledegook and ordinary people were still blinded by financial services science. Call me a pessimist, but I don’t think things will ever change.

You could die trying… or take a short cut!

You could spend the rest of your natural life trying to track down the best value, highest return savings account by trawling through vast amounts of often-baffling small print to identify the best-in-breed. You could find a trustworthy whole-industry Independent Financial Adviser to help you. Or simply trot along to Money Supermarket and let them do the boring bit for you.

The best thing about comparison websites is exactly that… they do the mind-numbingly dull bit for you, so you don’t have to.

Boo, hiss to financial services small print and jargon

Financial services companies tend to forget that most of us couldn’t give a stuff about the fine detail. Almost all of us have a hard time understanding the jargon and small print, myself included despite being pickled in the stuff for a decade and a half. We want to find the best product quickly and easily without having to decode the small print – of which there is always loads. Which is why services like Money Supermarket and Martin Lewis’s Money Saving Expert site are so successful and popular.

Making the best savings accounts easy to find, easier to understand

The Savings Account pages at Money Supermarket are wonderfully easy to use. All you do is find roughly what you want in a drop-down list, press ‘find accounts’ and it returns lists of the best savings products on the market at the moment.

If you haven’t the faintest idea which kind of account would suit you best, there’s even a handy ‘not sure – help me choose an account’ option. Brilliant. Plus an advanced search facility for the rare few who already know their savings onions and can decode the language.

Are you lost in savings account space? Hop over to Money Supermarket ‘s savings account pages and make your life a whole lot easier.
